Running in the rain is the best game of its kind because it features a dynamic story and challenge mode, as well as a unique soundtrack. Personally I am the most proud of the music and sound effects because that was my biggest contribution. A few difficulties I encountered were trying to get a few of the samples to play. They weren't playing was because they were unsupported audio files (UnsupportedAudioFileException e). The reason for this was because the bit depth of the sampling rate(44.1kHz) was 32 bits, and java isn't able to read an audio file with a bit depth over 24 bits. After figuring this out, I re-rendered all the audio files at 16 bits to allow for quicker and easier playback. If we were to continue developing Running In The Rain, one thing that I would improve upon is the story line. I'd like to add more depth to the story. As far as the parts of the code that I wrote, I developed the classes responsible for all the audio and sound effects, as well as implementing the sound effects in the Main class. Furthermore, I worked on the code for importing the initial umbrella image, as well as the logic and interface for unlocking the challenge mode. I also worked alongside Michael in creating the invincibility aspect for the umbrella.
